It didn’t make sense that my baby’s clothes only ever fit for like two months and then I had to buy new ones. I was so tired of it. We were also using cloth diapers, which made pants hard. I had some basic sewing skills and a little bit of time, so I decided to try making my own.

BeenieWeenieBaby was born between my kitchen island and the dining room table. I started with the basics (and very beginner-level results), but it grew pretty quickly. Within a year, I had a few hundred members in my Facebook group and was able to share my love for sustainable materials and long-lasting pieces.

Yeah, that’s cool and all, but why should you shop here? These are clothes that fit your kids for at least two seasons (don’t believe me? Check out the photo evidence in the FB group). They’re mostly made with U.S.-milled and printed organic cotton fabrics (and occasionally I’ll find a deal and offer it, but I always disclose that). They’re also printed just for me, meaning no extra waste, by another small business that uses non-toxic inks and sustainable printing practices. I also only use prints made by real artists, no AI designs here.

My mission is to make small-batch, handmade clothing for kids that holds up to real life, the kind that gets worn on repeat, grows with them, and then gets passed down.
